Fanie Phiri Appointed as Logistics Manager
Fanie continues to prove the power of commitment to learning and hard work

With 20 years service to Pasdec Automotive Technologies and an impressive track record of occupational and academic achievement, Fanie Phiri can be justifiably proud of his appointment to the position of Logistics Manager.

Fanie joined Pasdec Automotive Technologies in 1991 and began his journey as a Co-driver and Picker & Packer in despatch. Fanie’s abilities were quickly evident and before long he was made Despatch Supervisor.

In 1999 Fanie became the Stores Foreman before joining the purchasing department in 2004.  As a buyer,  Fanie showed considerable potential and was soon groomed to become a manager.

In 2010 Fanie stepped in as acting Logistics Manager, an appointment which was confirmed in January 2011.

Throughout his career,  Fanie has displayed a relentless appetite for learning. In addition to many computer and leadership courses, Fanie has successfully obtained a PMI qualification in Project Management.  Fanie intends to take this qulaification to B.Sc level in the future.

According to Kevin Pather, Pasdec’s CEO, Fanie’s career is a perfect example of the rewards that hard work, learning and a desire to succeed can deliver.
