The wiring harness contract for the exciting new Nissan vehicle, code named X11C, has been awarded to PAT. The time frame allowed to supply the first engineering test harness by 1st June 2005 is limited and a huge effort will be required to achieve the required timing schedule. According to Bully Bisschoff of PAT, start of production in PAT's plant is May 2006 for supply to Nissan during the latter part of June 2006. The indicative volume at this stage is between 800 and 900 vehicles per month. “We at PAT are very proud,” says Bully, “to have been chosen by Nissan for this very exciting and significant project.”
