Pasdec Automotive Technologies Awarded Top Audit Results

During late August, Mercedes-Benz South Africa conducted a stringent quality audit on Pasdec Automotive Technologies (PAT).

Evaluating the company in terms of the VDA6.3 Quality System, the Mercedes-Benz auditors awarded PAT a 98% pass mark, which qualifies the company as an "A" rated supplier according to VDA ratings. This is an exceptional result in the context of the high standards set by Mercedes-Benz South Africa.

According to the auditors, PAT’s QA system is of the highest order and sets a standard to be proud of.

Kevin Pather, PAT’s CEO, attributes this prestigious achievement to the systematic implementation of a comprehensive quality assurance policy at all levels.

“Great teamwork between quality assurance and production,” says Pather, “has been justly rewarded.”
