Pasdec Automotive Technologies Scoops Top Training Award
Brits, October 2008

As testimony to the extraordinary success of its Learnership Programme, Pasdec Automotive Technologies recently received a prestigious award from MERSETA, the training authority for engineering, manufacturing and related services.
At a ceremony held in Rosebank, Raymond Patel, the CEO of MERSETA, handed over a certificate and trophy proclaiming Pasdec as the Top Training Company in South Africa.
In accepting this award, Kevin Pather, Pasdec Automotive Technologies’ CEO, paid tribute to the commitment shown by his management and staff, particularly Charles Bodenstein, the HR Manager. He also thanked WI Training for their sterling efforts and dedication to the programme.
The Learnership Programme commenced in April 2004 and 449 employees have thus far benefitted from training up to NQF level 2 and3 (National Certificate: Automotive Component Manufacturing & Assembly).
“Pasdec,” said Pather, “has always recognised the value of developing our people and we will continue to make training and upliftment a priority.”
