 In preparation for the commencement of production on the Renault-Nissan UB90 project, Pasdec Automotive Technologies embarked on an ambitious and intensive training programme that would ultimately see 119 employees being trained on-site at Delphi’s Harness Manufacturing Botswana plant.
A detailed training programme, whereby each Pasdec employee was measured and assessed on an ongoing basis, afforded the trainees the opportunity to work alongside the Delphi team, as well as on their own. After thorough theoretical and practical input, they were measured against target to ensure that they reached the desired competency level.
Prior to starting this product specific training programme, all of these trainees have already received NQF Level 2 training as well as some on-the-job work experience. It is confidently expected, therefore, that the UB90 team will begin production fully equipped to deliver high quality products to the client.
