Following a history of admirable achievements in pioneering training programmes, Pasdec has transferred its skills development expertise to our Botswana plant. By November 2017 more than 600 employees have undergone extensive theoretical and practical training, which is accredited by the Botswana Qualifications Authority.

Pasdec has always been committed to investing in the welfare of the communities in which the company operates. Since establish its plant in Lobatse, Pasdec has continued this proud tradition.
On the 23rd and 24th of August 2017, Pasdec Automotive Technologies Botswana brought joy to 1800 schoolgirls when they were the recipients of a total of more than 7000 free sanitary pads.
Pasdec has for a number of years supported the initiative, which has been recognised by education and social authorities as being one of the most important developments for schoolgirls, particularly in poor and rural areas. According to UNESCO, one in ten girls in sub-Saharan Africa misses school during their period while others lose 20% of their education making them more likely to drop out of school.
